One day cookery Course

Are fettuccine your forbidden desire? So fulfill it! We’ll teach you how to make them and cook them with traditional Italian sauces, the right seasonal side dish, and a traditional dessert to end our class on a sweet note. You will return home able to prepare a perfect and delicious Italian lunch for your family and friends!

Exploring Two Arts:

From Food Shopping to Food Cooking:  Our class will begin amongst the Val Melaina stalls, the biggest and richest open air market in Rome. There we’ll buy the freshest ingredients for our dishes to be prepared. Then, at home, we’ll cook a meal utilizing everything we bought, vegetables, cheeses, meat etc. The class includes the preparation of a pasta course (in the best Italian tradition), such as Bucatini ‘Amatriciana’ style, Spaghetti ‘Carbonara’ style or Linguine with Pesto sauce, a side dish (varying according to seasonal produce) and finally a traditional sweet cake.

  • Everyday from 10:00 to 15:00

Egg Pasta, a True Passion! The class will be firstly and mostly dedicated to the preparation of Egg Fresh pasta, such as ‘Fettuccine’, ‘Pappardelle’ or ‘Ravioli’, to which a juicy sauce, cooked by ourselves, will be added… any dish of the Roman traditional cuisine contained in the Baratta family’s recipes.  As a side course, we won’t forget fresh seasonal vegetables. The class will be concluded with the ‘Tiramisu’, a sweet which cannot be missed… Finally, everybody sitting around the table, drinking an aperitif and tasting our delicious food.

  • Everyday from 17:30 to 22:00

MEMBERSHIP FEE per person from 90€

Costs include:

  • Annual Membership with Spaghetti in the Family;
  • transport in private cars from the meeting point (B1 subway station Conca d’Oro) to Val Melaina market and to the school;
  • expenses for all of ingredients;
  • tasting sessions (starters and desserts), first courses and a desserts; wines.
